Attaching Wings

Although it can be done with fewer people, I solicited four helpers for putting the wings on the plane. Prior to moving the wings, I attached the rony brackets to the fuselage root tube and the fuselage. The heavy lift kit required me to burn a hole in the fabric in order to mount the kit between the rony bracket and the fuselage tube.

We attached the lift struts to the wing, set up the connecting bolts in the rony brackets, and then brought the wing to the fuselage.

Note that the plane readily stands with only one wing attached. None of the nuts need to be tightened at this stage and indeed, I did not until the jury struts were installed.
